Dr. Ekkehard Wenning has been active in the field of industrial property protection since 1993. In 2000, he joined Henkel IP Intellectual Property, becoming a partner in 2001.
He is an accredited representative before the European Patent Office and has been a German patent attorney since 1996. He possesses extensive experience in all areas of industrial property protection. In addition to his patent attorney training, Dr. Wenning completed a law degree with a focus on European industrial property protection, earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. He represents clients before the Unified Patent Court. Dr. Wenning holds a degree in physics with concentrations in physical chemistry, electrodynamics, and solid-state physics.
At Henkel IP Intellectual Property, Dr. Wenning is involved in all areas of industrial property protection, including infringement proceedings and annulment actions. His specializations include software and electronic patents as well as trademark law.
